An Introduction

Dear readers (if any), welcome to Culture THIS!, a blog dedicated to showing how easy it is to produce cultured veggies at home, with not a lot of effort. I have now managed to produce several batches of pretty decent Sauerkraut and a few fermented vegetables, so the time has come to chronicle my efforts to the benefit of anyone who is interested.

Over the coming weeks and months, I will keep a record of future batches of the fermented foods I produce, complete with recipes used and before and after pictures. I have also composed a few general 'help' posts (see 'FAQs' links to the right of this post) discussing issues like the best containers to use, mould, quantity of salt to use and techniques.
